{"id":6990,"date":"2026-07-21T10:03:31","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T10:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/?p=6990"},"modified":"2026-07-21T10:03:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T10:03:32","slug":"arranca-la-vendimia-en-la-dop-islas-canarias-canary-wine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/en\/arranca-la-vendimia-en-la-dop-islas-canarias-canary-wine\/","title":{"rendered":"Arranca la vendimia en la DOP Islas Canarias \u2013 Canary Wine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-f3dd9be479614bce5def0956d47c6d3e wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em><strong>Redacci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El pasado jueves 16 de julio dio comienzo la vendimia en la Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen Protegida Islas Canarias \u2013 Canary Wine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las primeras uvas se recolectaron en la Finca El Sordo, situada en Tetir, Fuerteventura, y destinadas a las elaboraciones de Bodega Gavias El Sordo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En esta primera jornada se vendimiaron las variedades Malvas\u00eda Volc\u00e1nica, Moscatel y List\u00e1n Negro, en unas explotaciones marcadas por la escasez de agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La vendimia se ir\u00e1 generalizando en el conjunto del archipi\u00e9lago a lo largo de las pr\u00f3ximas semanas y, un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, los vi\u00f1edos de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canarywine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Canary Wine<\/a> se sit\u00faan entre los primeros del hemisferio norte en iniciar la campa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diferencia del ejercicio anterior, el Consejo Regulador de la DOP Islas Canarias \u2013 Canary Wine estima para esta campa\u00f1a 2026 un aumento notable del volumen de uva con respecto a la vendimia de 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large has-custom-border\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"472\" src=\"https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-1024x472.jpg\" alt=\"Canary wine es la primera denominaci\u00f3n de origen espa\u00f1ola en iniciar su vendimia 2026\" class=\"wp-image-7001\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:20px;border-top-right-radius:20px;border-bottom-left-radius:20px;border-bottom-right-radius:20px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-1024x472.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-768x354.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-1536x708.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03-18x8.jpg 18w, https:\/\/rtvgastro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Vendimia-Canary-Wine_03.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras quince a\u00f1os de trayectoria, la DOP Islas Canarias \u2013 Canary Wine se ha afianzado como la denominaci\u00f3n de origen con mayor implantaci\u00f3n en Canarias, con casi 1.000 viticultores activos y m\u00e1s de 50 bodegas adscritas, muchas de ellas con una clara orientaci\u00f3n exportadora. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ello se suma una decidida apuesta por el impulso y la participaci\u00f3n en numerosos proyectos de I+D+i.
